PRAIRIE DOG LIFE
Can you dig life underground in a prairie dog town? From nurseries to kitchens and bathrooms, prairie dogs construct an elaborate system of tunnels and rooms, providing homes for themselves and many other fascinating creatures. Discover the drama of prairie dog town life, with a live prairie dog and some of his neighbors – salamanders, box turtles, burrowing owls and the endangered black-footed ferret. We will listen to prairie dog language, which is thought to be one of the more complex in the animal kingdom, and discover whether black-footed ferrets really dance. Come uncover a new underground world.
